Rotate PDF

A scanner fed the sheet sideways, a phone photographed the page upside down, one page in a merged file came in landscape. Turn the pages here and download the file — the rotation is written into the PDF itself, not just into how your viewer shows it.

A PDF up to 100 MB

This edits pages, not letters. Text inside a PDF is stored as glyphs at coordinates, not as sentences, so «fix a word» would mean re-flowing a paragraph blind — no honest tool does that in a browser, and this one does not pretend to. What it does do is exact: pages keep their content, their fonts and their quality; only their order, their rotation and their presence change.

      How to use

      1. Choose the PDF — the pages appear as thumbnails.
      2. Turn a single page with the arrows under it, or press “Rotate all” for the whole file.
      3. Press the button and download the corrected PDF.

      Good to know

The rotation is saved, not just displayed

Some viewers let you turn a page on screen and forget it the moment you close the file. Here the angle is written into the document: whoever opens it next — a colleague, a printer, a government portal — sees the page the right way up. That is the whole difference between “I turned it” and “it is turned”.

      The pages are not re-encoded

Turning a page changes one number in the file, not the page itself: text stays text, pictures keep their original quality, and the file does not grow. That also means a scan that was blurry stays exactly as blurry — rotation cannot fix what the scanner did.

      Frequently asked questions

      Is my file uploaded?

No. The PDF is opened and rewritten in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere.

Can I turn just one page?

Yes — each thumbnail has its own arrows. “Rotate all” is there for the case when the whole file came in sideways.

      Will the quality drop?

No. Rotation changes a page property, not its contents: nothing is re-encoded and the file stays the same size.

What if the page is upside down?

Press the arrow twice — two quarters make a half turn.
