Split PDF

Leave the field empty to get every page as its own file, or write the ranges you need — «1-3, 7, 10-» gives exactly three documents.

Leave empty to split into single pages. «1-3, 7, 10-» gives three files: pages 1–3, page 7, and everything from 10 to the end.

      How to use

      Good to know

      Pages are copied, not redrawn

Each piece is built by copying the original page objects into a new document. Selectable text, links, bookmarks inside a page and vector graphics survive intact, and the parts together weigh about as much as the original.

      How to write the ranges

A number means one page, «1-3» means a run, «10-» means from the tenth to the end. Ranges are separated by commas, and every range becomes its own file — so «1-3, 7» gives two documents, not four.

      Frequently asked questions

      Is my file uploaded anywhere?

No. Splitting happens in your browser and the document stays on your device.

How do I extract a single page?

Write its number in the field — for example «7» — and you get one file with that page.

      Will the text stay searchable?

Yes. Pages are copied as objects, so text, links and vector graphics remain as they were.

      Can I split a password-protected PDF?

Only if it opens without a password. Unlock it first in a PDF reader, then split.
