Sign a PDF
Draw your signature, add the document, drag the signature to where it belongs. The file is rebuilt on your own device and nothing leaves the browser. What you get is a picture of a signature on the page — not a certified electronic signature. The difference is spelled out below, before you send anything anywhere.
This is not an electronic signature in the legal sense. There is no certificate here, no cryptography and no timestamp — the file gets a picture of your signature drawn on top of the page, and nothing more. That is worth exactly as much as printing the document, signing it with a pen and scanning it back: enough for an invoice, a form or an internal approval, not enough where a qualified signature is required. If someone asked you for a qualified or certified signature, you need a certification authority, not this page.

Drag the signature to where it belongs.
The document and the signature stay in this browser: nothing is uploaded anywhere, which is also why nobody here could certify anything even if we wanted to.

Good to know
What this signature is worth
Exactly as much as printing the document, signing it with a pen and scanning it back — no more and no less. There is no certificate here, no cryptography and no timestamp; the file simply gets a picture drawn on top of the page. For an invoice, a rental form, a school permission slip or an internal approval, that is what everyone means by «sign it and send it back». Where a qualified or certified signature is required by law, this is not it, and no browser page can be: a qualified signature needs a certification authority that has checked who you are.
The page keeps everything it had
Nothing is redrawn or flattened: text stays text, fonts stay embedded, images keep their resolution, and the rest of the document is copied over untouched. Placement takes the page's own rotation into account — scans are very often marked as turned, and a signature placed without noticing that mark either lies on its side or lands off the sheet. Here it is put where you see it, on any of the four rotations.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a legally binding electronic signature?
It is not an electronic signature in the legal sense at all — there is no certificate, no cryptography, no timestamp. It carries the same weight as a signature written by hand on a printout and scanned back in, which in many everyday cases is enough. If someone has asked you for a qualified, advanced or notarised signature, you need a certification authority, not this page.
Is my document uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF and the signature stay in this browser, on your device — that is also why nobody here could certify anything even in principle. It is the reason a contract or a medical form can go through this page at all.
Can I sign every page at once?
Yes. Place the signature on one page, adjust it, then press «On every page». The position is carried over as a share of the page rather than in absolute units, so it lands in the same visual spot even if the pages have different sizes.
My uploaded signature has a white box around it.
The white background is turned transparent automatically, but a photo taken in dim or uneven light leaves a grey haze that the threshold reads as ink. A shot on white paper in even daylight, or a signature drawn here with a finger, gives a clean result.
