Drop a file in and the converter works out what can be done with it. A PDF comes apart into pages or gives up its text; a pile of images becomes one document.

Good to know
Why the choice depends on what you brought
A PDF and a photograph go opposite ways, so offering both directions at once would be nonsense. Bring a document and you are offered its pages as images or its text as a file; bring pictures and the only sensible thing is to bind them into one document. That is why the buttons appear after the file, not before it.
What this converter will not promise
There is no PDF to Excel here, and that is deliberate: a table inside a PDF is not a table but lines and text at coordinates, so the cell borders would have to be guessed and the mistake would pass in silence. Turning a PDF into Word is the bigger job, with caveats of its own, and it has a page to itself. And text can only be pulled out of a document that has a text layer — a scan is pictures, and the honest answer there is JPG.
Frequently asked questions
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything is read and built inside your browser, on your device. That is the whole reason a signed contract can go through a converter at all.
Why did the text come out empty?
Because the PDF is a scan: inside are pictures of pages, not letters. The tool says so instead of handing you an empty file. Convert those pages to JPG or PNG, or put them through text recognition.
Can I convert several PDFs at once?
Not here — one document at a time, so the pages of the second do not mix into the first. To put several PDFs together, use the merge tool.
How big a file can it take?
Up to 100 MB, and up to fifty images at a time. Long documents are drawn page by page, and the first two hundred pages go into the text file.
