Fancy Text Generator
Type a nickname and take the variant you like. Nothing is installed and nothing is uploaded: the letters are simply swapped for Unicode characters that already look the way you want.
Letter styles
With frames
None of this is a font. Unicode has separate characters that look like letters in another style, and they are what gets substituted — which is why such a name pastes anywhere without installing anything, and why a screen reader will read it out as a list of symbol names, search will not find it, and some sites strip it.

Good to know
Why it works without any font
No site will let you install a font in its name field. This works the other way round: Unicode contains separate characters that already look like letters in another style — mathematical alphabets, circled letters, squared letters, wide Latin. Nothing is styled; the characters are simply exchanged. That is why such a name pastes into a game, a chat or a profile with no installing at all, and why it survives being copied from one place to another.
What Unicode does not have
There is no styled Cyrillic, and no styled Greek beyond a handful of letters. Those alphabets were added for mathematics, and mathematics is written in Latin. So a Cyrillic nickname cannot be made bold or cursive this way — no tool can do it, ours included. What does work with any script is what does not touch the letters at all: strikethrough, underline, spacing and frames. Those are shown for every language.
Frequently asked questions
Will it work in a game or on Instagram?
Usually, but not always. These are ordinary characters, so most places accept them. Some sites deliberately strip anything outside plain letters, and some fonts on some devices show a box instead of a character. Paste it and look before you settle on it.
Why do my Cyrillic letters stay the same?
Because bold, italic and script Cyrillic do not exist in Unicode. Sets that cannot handle your text are not shown at all — showing an unchanged string as a finished result would be passing off a refusal as an answer.
Is there a catch to using it?
Two, and they are worth knowing. A screen reader will read such a name out as a list of symbol names rather than a word, and search will not find it — for someone looking you up by name, you have effectively vanished.
Does anything get uploaded?
No. The substitution happens in your browser, on your device. There is nothing to send: the whole tool is a table of characters.
